Survey Results: Who Should Be The Next GOP Lt. Governor in Texas?‏‏

This was our second survey for the Lt. Governor race. You can find results from the previous survey here >>  We sent the survey to 3550 email registered members. 969 responded via email and 337 voted on our website.
It appears that now that Dan Patrick from Houston has entered the race,  both Dewhurst and Patrick are splitting the Houston base; this is bad news for Lt. Gov. Dewhurst. Patterson still kept the lead, and even took some of the votes that went to Susan Combs in the previous survey.  Also, it seems that Patrick took some votes from Todd Staples who received only 5% of the vote whereas before he got 13%.

Survey question: The 2014 race for Lt. Governor in Texas is heating up with three tough contenders that have announced they will be seeking the Lt. Governor chair challenging David Dewhurst.
